Your Responsibilities
As a Technical Information Specialist for the Enterprise Technical Information Development (ETID) organization located in East Moline, IL, you will provide technical leadership in the development of operation, repair, and diagnostic service information by collaborating with stakeholders and defining content requirements supporting Seeding & Planter products. Additionally, you will:
- Lead and contribute to innovation & strategy initiatives supporting standards, automations, and advanced diagnostic solutions
- Work in partnership with product engineering and customer support representatives to identify and define solutions improving product troubleshooting pain-points, technician efficiency, and customer up time
- Support project leaders, technical information specialists, and training development specialists to create and execute development plans that meet quality, efficiency, and economic requirements
- Lead and oversee technical information development activities by identifying, scoping, and assigning work to global internal and external content development resources
- Provide work direction, mentoring, and training to local, remote, or contract authoring center(s) as necessary

What Makes You Stand Out
- Knowledge of Product Development as well as Customer & Product Support processes
- Cross functional experience in areas such as Product Engineering, Product Support, Manufacturing Engineering, and/or Quality
- Experience applying digital dexterity tools (Excel, Power BI, Power Apps, etc.) to enhance customer value and mitigate nonvalue added tasks
- Knowledge of technical information systems, processes, and tools
- Experience working with local and global teams
- Knowledge of hydraulic and/or electrical systems
- Knowledge of Planting and Seeding equipment
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Ag/Turf Sciences, Data Science/Analytics or quantitative disciplines
