Job Description:

The Childcare Teacher is responsible for assisting in providing quality early learning and age-appropriate activities for each child's individual needs. This position ensures a total learning environment is maintained. Additionally, this role serves as a liaison between children, parents, and the center's leadership team. In addition, this position supports the development and implementation of educational programs. This role contributes to the overall effectiveness of the learning center through active participation in team efforts.

SIGN ON BONUS: $5,000

Shift: Full-Time Days 9:10am - 5:40pm

Responsibilities

  • Maintains standards as outlined by state health department licensing.

  • Models exemplary behavior and professionalism in all tasks.

  • Works positively and timely as a team to enhance the experience of children, families, and staff.

  • Is attentive and sensitive to the needs of staff, children, families, and the childcare center.

  • Informs proper associates of changes in adult/child ratios to ensure appropriate staffing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Computer Skills Required

  • Communicates and Problem Solves Effectively Required

  • Teachers must have a clear understanding of the curriculum standards for the age of the children in their classes Preferred

Education:

  • Associate Preferred

  • High School Grad or Equivalent Required

  • or equivalent from an accredited art school


Licenses and Certifications:

  • First Aid CPR AED (CPR AED) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$16.92 - $27.08
