Electrician - Fire Alarm/ Low Voltage with RBG Electrical Marietta, GA Full Time Experienced Share ELECTRICIANS -- FIRE ALARM EXPERIENCEElectrical company needs highly motivated electricians with a minimum of 3 or more years of fire alarm expertise in commercial or industrial. POSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial or industrial settings.JOB DUTIESInspects and evaluates electrical equipment to ensure that it operates efficiently and safely; determines whether equipment and new installations meet requirements of the National Electrical Code.Studies blueprints and schematics in order to plan the material and labor needed to accomplish tasks.Inspect, repair, install, modify and maintain electrical systems, circuits and equipment.Perform related work as assigned.REQUIREMENTS & SKILL SETS Troubleshooting systemsWiring systemsDemo systemsWiring devicesUnderstanding circuitryGeneral Requirement(s) - At least 3-5 years commercial or industrial experience as Journeyman.Must be able to pass Security Criminal background checkAbility to read blueprints, bend and thread rigid conduit, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing and troubleshooting.Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in new and renovation construction settingsAbility to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objectsAbility to ascend/descend laddersWilling to work nights/weekends/overtime, as required.Good communication skills -- ability to interact well with project managers, subordinates, vendors, other trades and professionals.Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools a must.Experience:3-5 years Industrial or commercial experience preferred.Previous service/maintenance experience is a plus, but not required.Needs to be proficient working with Live switchgear along with the understanding and use of the proper PPE.Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must have an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of this specialty.OSHA 10 Certification and CPR training a plus.Licensed Electricians a plusCOVID-19 considerations:Covid Protocols at all job sites and office location.
