Advanced Associate, Geo Marketing
This role aligns to industry level titles such as Student Acquisition Marketing Specialist and Senior Marketing Coordinator
The Advanced Associate (IC15), Geo Marketing contributes to the execution of integrated U.S. Higher Ed student acquisition campaigns and marketing activations, both online and across U.S. campuses.
You will play a key role in delivering campaigns across digital and experiential channels, supporting agency and vendor relationships, and helping execute student-facing activations both online and across on campus. This role develops stronger judgment in planning, prioritization, stakeholder coordination, and performance optimization while gaining exposure to the full student acquisition funnel.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Execute defined components of integrated student acquisition campaigns across paid media, social, email, web, influencer, affiliate, and other marketing channels.
- Manage campaign timelines, tasks, and deliverables for assigned workstreams.
- Support campaign setup, QA, launch activities, and promotional calendar management with increasing ownership.
- Ensure campaigns align with messaging strategies, audience targeting requirements, and Pearson brand standards.
- Assist in executing test-and-learn initiatives to improve campaign performance and student engagement.
Student Activation & Event Support
- Support planning and execution of student-facing marketing activations, events, and engagement programs on college campuses and through partner channels.
- Coordinate logistics, materials, promotional assets, and vendor deliverables for assigned activations.
- Assist with bookstore programs, orientation activities, student outreach initiatives with our Pearson Campus Ambassadors (PCA’s), and other acquisition-focused engagement efforts.
- Help ensure activations are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to campaign objectives.
- Support post-event reporting and documentation of key learnings and performance outcomes.
Coordination & Stakeholder Support
- Work with Product Marketing, Sales, internal Marketing Centers of Excellence, and regional teams to support campaign and activation execution.
- Coordinate with creative, media, experiential, and agency partners to deliver campaign assets and activation materials.
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned campaign components, vendors, or project deliverables.
- Maintain project plans, marketing calendars, and execution documentation to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
Vendor & Agency Coordination
- Coordinate deliverables with external marketing agencies, campus activation vendors, and promotional partners.
- Track timelines, deliverables, approvals, and project status across multiple external partners.
- Assist with vendor onboarding, invoice tracking, and program execution management.
- Help monitor vendor performance and identify opportunities to improve execution quality and efficiency.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Monitor campaign and activation performance for assigned activities and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support reporting and contribute insights to improve campaign effectiveness and student engagement.
- Assist in testing and optimization efforts across messaging, audiences, channels, and activation tactics.
- Help evaluate acquisition and engagement metrics to inform future marketing investments and program improvements.
Execution Excellence & Development
- Apply best practices in campaign execution, audience segmentation, targeting, and student engagement.
- Build working knowledge of the student journey, acquisition funnel, and channel strategy.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and execution quality.
- Continuously develop marketing, project management, and vendor management capabilities.
Experience
Proven experience in marketing, campaign management, or related roles, with background preferred in Education, Tech or Financial Services, or E-commerce
Track record of supporting and/or executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital preferred)

- Ability to execute with attention to detail while maintaining focus on broader business objectives.
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $42-78,000.
