The role involves working on scalable applications, contributing to system design, and delivering robust solutions using microservices and cloud-based architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams. ## What you’ll do ### * Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React. * Design and implement microservices and REST/SOAP-based web services. * Work with AWS services to build scalable and efficient solutions. * Implement and manage messaging solutions using Kafka. * Write, debug, and maintain React unit test cases to ensure application quality. * Collaborate with teams to analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. * Manage code repositories and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins. * Perform database design, development, and optimisation using SQL. * Work in Unix/Ubuntu-based environments for development and deployment activities. * Monitor and troubleshoot applications using tools such as Kibana and Elasticsearch where applicable. ## Who you are * Experienced in Java 8, Spring Boot, and modern full stack development practices. * Proficient in React, including testing frameworks and debugging techniques. * Familiar with AWS cloud services and event-driven architecture using Kafka. * Knowledgeable in REST and SOAP web services development. * Comfortable working in Ubuntu/Linux-based environments. * Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with hands-on experience in SQL. * Able to understand complex business processes and translate them into application requirements. * Exposure to tools and technologies such as Oracle PL/SQL, Liquibase, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and Grafana is advantageous. ## Not a perfect fit?
