As a Storekeeper at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, you will be responsible for managing the goods and deliveries entering and leaving the hotel premises. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all deliveries are received, stored, and distributed efficiently and accurately according to the company's purchasing and procurement standards. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels, managing stock rotation, and preserving the quality of goods.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Manage receiving operations: Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders to ensure quality, quantity, and company standards are met.
  • Maintain inventory: Organize and store goods while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper stock levels.
  • Support hotel operations: Coordinate the timely distribution of goods to hotel departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation: Record all inventory movements and maintain up-to-date stock records and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance: Follow company purchasing, procurement, safety, and inventory control policies while maintaining proper storage and handling standards.

The following capabilities and qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Previous experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, stock handling, and inventory management systems.
  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow safety, storage, and handling procedures.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift and move stock when required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or supply chain certification is an advantage.
