Job Description Summary

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate in, and in some cases lead, compensation-related special projects, including job architecture projects, compensation system enhancements, process improvements and other strategic compensation initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to develop project plans, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, status reporting, and communication strategies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Partner with Compensation team members to evaluate existing compensation workflows, tools, and operational practices to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve compensation process documentation, including standard operating procedures, workflows, process maps, job aids, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with HR Operations and HRIS teams to optimize compensation-related system functionality and reporting capabilities.
  • Provide compensation consultation and guidance to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders regarding compensation policies, practices, and programs.
  • Support salary structure administration and compensation program reviews to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Analyze compensation data and prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership decision-making.
  • Support compensation audits, data validation efforts, and regulatory reporting activities.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive compensation experience, including compensation analysis, program implementation, consulting, and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and driving initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Experience documenting business processes, developing standard operating procedures, and facilitating process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and compensation reporting tools.
  • Experience working with HRIS, Human Capital Management systems, and compensation technology solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
  • Experience with Workday

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job.  Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.  All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $98,573.00 - 135,537.60

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following paid time off from work, subject to Sunbelt’s policies (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement):
