Advanced Application Engineer

You will report directly to our Sr. Field Service Manager, and you’ll work out of our Miami, Florida location on an onsite work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the design and implementation of advanced application solutions for Honeywell Building Automation products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs
Provide expert technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders on product configuration and deployment
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues during project implementation
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance application capabilities
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
Minimum of 6 years of experience in application engineering, preferably in building automation or related industries
Strong knowledge of Honeywell Building Automation products and solutions
Expertise in application design, configuration, and troubleshooting of building control systems, including software deployment and integration
Proficiency with relevant tools and technologies such as building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and automation software platforms

Advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement
Knowledge of industry standards and protocols such as BACnet, LonWorks, and Modbus
