Geo Auto フォワード デプロイド エンジニア（FDE）チームは、グローバル パートナーと協力して Google マップを統合し、車両向けの最先端のナビゲーション ソリューションを開発しています。Google の主な目標は、できるだけ多くの車両で Google マップを利用できるようにして、リーチを最大化することです。Google の戦略目標とパートナーの戦略目標を一致させ、エッジ プラットフォームとクラウド プラットフォーム全体で Geo Automotive プロダクトをシームレスに統合できるようにします。
フォワード デプロイド エンジニア（FDE）は、グローバルな自動車業界に関する独自の知見を得て、プロダクトの構想から生産までを導くポジションです。ナビゲーション、自動車用センサー、組み込みコンピューティング、高度なソフトウェア アーキテクチャを専門とする部門横断型チームと連携して業務を遂行してください。
この職種では、自動車業界のナビゲーション要件を理解し、自動運転や運転支援のための地図データの活用について経験を積むことができます。さらに、パートナーの視点から地図データと地理空間サービスの品質を評価し、堅牢な外部向け SDK を定義して開発し、サービスの品質を可視化するツールを作成します。この職種では、社内のチームや社外のパートナーと幅広く連携し、革新的な自動車製品を市場に投入するエンジニアリングとビジネスの両面を経験するという、またとない機会が得られます。
Responsibilities
- 自動車パートナーを主導し、Automotive OS プラットフォーム、ADAS の各種コンポーネント、車載インフォテインメントといった複合的な分野にわたって Google マップと Automotive SDK を統合する。
- 自動車パートナーとの関係を管理し、バグ、機能不足、機能リクエストなど、運転に関する問題を解決に導く。
- 自動車パートナーの要件、制約、ロードマップを社内で管理し、プロダクト開発に取り入れる。
- SME（サブジェクト マター エキスパート）として Geo Auto フォワード デプロイド エンジニア チームをサポートする。
- Geo Auto、Geo Developer、Android の各組織のチームと密接に連携し、一貫性のある包括的な自動車ソリューションを提供できるよう取り組む。
