Tasks include performing advanced troubleshooting, upgrades on production lines automation systems and providing technical support to those plants that need help. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring the plant Automation technicians.Essential FunctionsProviding Plant Support for Niagara FacilitiesProvide aid and expertise to plant maintenance and automation teamsAid in any needed repairs on production machinery, as necessaryTroubleshoot and repair complex machine electrical issuesAutomated UpgradesPerform root cause analysis for automated machine upgradesResearch and Development of innovative technologies for increased output and reducing laborTechnician TrainingShare knowledge with the plant electrical and automation techniciansSeek out training opportunities for team development and report to Technical Engineering ManagerTravel Requirements:  Approximately 75% of the yearPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
