The Ireland Manufacturing team is actively seeking the right teammate to support the stand up of production in our Ireland factory as a Manager in Manufacturing.
As a Manufacturing Manager, you will lead and coordinate a Manufacturing team operating in one of our Business Units, that operates 24/7. This position will set goals, establish priorities, manage resources, develop concepts and approaches, review production performance and results, and make decisions to ensure production deliverables are achieved. This job spends a significant amount of time leading a production team.
Where you come in:
* Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
* Lead, mentor, and develop production staff to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work environment that operates to Dexcom’s desired behaviours. Focus on development of the individuals on the team for the benefit of the individual and Dexcom.
* Responsible for addressing people’s performance issues and conflict resolutions if they arise.
* Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise productivity and reduce waste.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
* Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and support smooth operations.
* Prepare and manage production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory levels.
* Analyse production data and prepare regular reports for senior management.
* Drive implementation of lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
* Have deep technical knowledge to help drive resolution of challenges.

Education Requirements:
* Typically requires a bachelor’s degree, along with 8–12 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and 2–5 years of prior team management experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
* CER Manufacturing experience essential, automation environment an advantage.
* Medical device industry experience.
* Experience with start-up & scale-up organizations.
* Experience working in a Digital Factory.
* Six Sigma Black Belt.
