Full-Time – Activity / Recreational Therapist
Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights

Our 20-bed inpatient hospital specializing in geriatric psychiatric care is looking for a dedicated Activity/Recreational Therapist to join our team. Located next to NHC HealthCare Maryland Heights, our facility serves patients with cognitive and mental health needs.

Role overview:

• Lead group and individual therapeutic activities

• Observe and document patient behavior and condition

• Complete assessments and documentation per policy

• Support a safe, structured environment for patients

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy, Exercise Science, or related field 

• Valid driver’s license

• 1+ year of recreation therapy experience in a psychiatric setting

•  Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist -preferred but not required
