Manager, Ads and Shopping, Trust and Safety, Content _corporate_fare_ Google _place_ Hyderabad, Telangana, India **Advanced** Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain. **Minimum qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 10 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, business strategy, or related fields. + 8 years of experience in business strategy, technology research, anti-abuse, policy, data analytics, cyber-security, program management or related fields. + 2 years of experience in people management, leading teams. **Preferred qualifications:** + Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field. + Education in, or experience with, machine learning. + Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python). + Experience working with engineering and product teams to create tools, solutions, or automation to improve user safety. + Experience working closely with policy teams. + Ability to translate complex data analyses and emerging abuse trends into actionable business strategies for non-technical stakeholders and leadership. **About the job** Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. Our team has the critical mission of protecting and respecting Google's users, ensuring online safety in both core and emerging areas. We are at the center of the company-wide charge to raise the bar on content, including coherent policies and scaled and effective enforcement. We have recently expanded beyond traditional product protections focusing on additional types of abuse: brand safety, controversial content, violent extremism, and political interference. We've advanced user protections, and demonstrated expertise across Google’s growing array of products and services. In this role, you’ll lead a team, be a thought leader, an excellent operator and will collaborate cross-functionally. You will bring passion for abuse fighting, focus on putting the user first and lead a high performing team to deliver excellent business results. You will partner with key stakeholders to drive operational performance and lower abuse rates. **Responsibilities** + Architect the roadmap for global ads defense. Oversee the deployment of analytical frameworks and fraud-detection methodologies to proactively identify and mitigate content that violates Google Ads policies, staying one step ahead of evolving adversarial tactics. + Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives by partnering with executive stakeholders across product, engineering, legal, Public Relation (PR), and public policy to influence long-term technical roadmaps, roll out policy updates, and ensure safer-by-design product features. + Forge and scale a team of subject matter experts. Advocate a culture of continuous learning and psychological safety, ensuring your team remains resilient and high-performing while navigating the rapid pace and sensitive nature of global ads content and policies.
