Field Reimbursement Manager – Nerivio

Location: United States (EST or CST)

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote


About Nerivio:

Nerivio is an innovative, FDA-cleared, drug-free wearable device for the acute and preventive treatment of migraine. As part of Theranica’s mission to improve access to non-pharmacological migraine care, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Field Reimbursement Manager to support healthcare providers and patients in navigating the reimbursement landscape for Nerivio. In addition, the FRM will mentor and support Field Reimbursement Specialists in a “team leadership” or “player/coach” role.


Position Summary:

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) will be responsible for facilitating patient access to Nerivio by supporting reimbursement processes across assigned territories. This includes educating healthcare providers, office staff, and patients on coverage, prior authorization, and appeals processes, while working closely with payers and internal teams to resolve access barriers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary reimbursement resource for Nerivio within the assigned territory.
  • Educate healthcare providers and staff on payer coverage policies, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals processes, and proper EMR submission.
  • Support patients and providers in navigating reimbursement challenges, including denied claims and financial assistance programs.
  • Mentoring/Management of Field Reimbursement Specialists.
  • Share best practices across the Field Reimbursement and Market Access teams
  • Collaborate with sales, market access, and patient support teams to develop and execute territory-specific access strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze regional reimbursement trends and payer policies affecting Nerivio.
  • Influence policy changes in regional health plans to add coverage for Nerivio.
  • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on access barriers and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and privacy guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device reimbursement.
  • Proven success in patient access, reimbursement support, and payer engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and government payer systems (Medicare, Medicaid).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in neurology, pain management, or migraine therapeutic areas.
  • Experience leading field reimbursement specialist and/or teams
  • Familiarity with digital therapeutics or wearable medical devices.
  • Product launch experience in a reimbursement-focused role.
