Consumer Credit Risk Senior Director
As the Consumer Credit Risk Senior Director, you will be responsible for oversight of Citizens' total leveraged exposure including maintaining a framework and leveraged lending limits to track, manage and monitor this asset class. You will identify key risks and proactively guide the development of protective and balanced credit structures with a knowledge of current market conditions are key components of the job. You will be making decisions quickly on each credit and communicating your rationale clearly are also critical in the role.
Primary responsibilities include
Approving credit within CAF authorities, guidance on structuring, problem loan identification direct and monitor early stage actions plans.
- Credit policy and procedure development, implementation, training & maintenance, "Business partnering” with assigned line lending units – proactive constructive cultural integration and coordination.
- Direct and manage portfolio activities of credit officers within region. coordinate and facilitate activities with credit officers, portfolio risk management, credit Review, Special assets, internal audit, corporate risk management and others.
- Attend all regulatory meetings and preparing portfolio presentations as requested.
- Participate in community related activities and exemplify the Credo in all activities.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

- Bachelor’s degree; Masters preferred
- 10 years’ relevant experience in consumer credit management
- Detailed understanding of credit scoring models
- Deep skillset in quantitative methods for credit risk
- Loss forecasting experience
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in design and development of complex underwriting systems
- Proven track record in managing risk in growth portfolios
- Ability to influence outcomes in a broad organizational structure where diverse stakeholders have interests in outcomes

- Hours per Week: 40

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $216,000– $262,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings (if applicable). Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience. No other portions of the posting are changing, including benefits language or incentive guidance (e.g., Teller roles should continue to remove incentive language as noted).
