As a Senior Director, People Business Partner, you will be tasked with partnering with executive leaders in shaping organizational strategy, talent priorities, and workforce transformation. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving organizational effectiveness through organizational design, workforce planning, leadership coaching, change management, and talent strategy.
The Senior Director will lead complex People initiatives that align business objectives with people strategies, enabling organizational growth, building leadership capability, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture.
What Will You Do?
- Partner with executive leaders to develop and execute People strategies that support business objectives and organizational growth.
- Lead organizational design and transformation initiatives, including organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and operating model changes.
- Coach senior leaders on organizational leadership, talent management, change leadership, and team effectiveness.
- Drive talent strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and organizational capability planning.
- Utilize People analytics and workforce insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize organizational performance.
- Lead complex employee relations matters, providing guidance that balances business needs, employee experience, and compliance.
- Partner with Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and People Operations to deliver integrated People solutions.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and high performance.
- Oversee a team of two People Business Partners and one People Generalist.
What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus.
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience as a strategic People Business Partner supporting senior executives.
- Proven expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and change management.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership to drive business and people strategies.
- Strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Experience leveraging People analytics and HR technology (Workday experience required) to support business decisions.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-growth, technology, healthcare, financial services, or similarly complex organizations.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, Prosci, or other HR and change management certifications are a plus.
- Experience supporting global teams and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
