This position will interface with developers, architects, general contractors, engineering firms, permitting jurisdictions and are responsible to directly manage and supervise Niagara’s chosen contractors.Essential FunctionsProvides input to the project design and directly manages the construction, equipment installation and commissioning processActively monitors the project schedule and makes the necessary changes to stay on trackLeads daily/weekly project management meetings with Niagara’s contractors to review project timelines, milestones, budgets and allocations of resourcesParticipates in weekly general contractor meetings as Niagara’s representative when applicableEnsures projects are implemented in accordance Niagara’s policies and procedures including but not limited to safety, good manufacturing practices (GMP’s), quality and generally accepted construction and equipment installation methodsCollaborates with the plant director, plant engineer and maintenance manager for a seamless transition at the conclusion of the project and handoff to the plantActively monitors the project schedule, scope and budget and makes the necessary changes to stay on trackExtensive Travel – Minimum 75% to Maximum 100%Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
