Our team:  The Solutioning team partners closely with schools, teachers, internal sales teams, and academic stakeholders across the Southern Cone and wider LATAM region. The team brings together academic consultancy, teacher training, customer support, and commercial enablement to help clients understand, adopt, and successfully use Pearson’s English Language Learning solutions.

This role sits within a team of academic consultants who train teachers, support customers, advise internal teams, and help ensure that Pearson’s products and services are positioned with academic credibility, practical relevance, and a strong focus on learning impact.

About the Role:

We are looking for a professional to join the Solutioning team as an Academic advisor. In this role, you will design and validate tailored solution blueprints, support bid and proposal responses, assess feasibility and risks, and work closely with Sales, Product, and academic teams to ensure solutions are aligned with customer needs and Pearson’s standards.

You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the pre-sales cycle, helping translate customer requirements into practical, scalable, and academically sound solutions. This includes supporting complex deals, troubleshooting technical or implementation requirements, reviewing draft proposals, sharing best practices, and mentoring peers to strengthen solution quality and consistency.

This role is especially suited to someone who combines strong solution design and analytical skills with the confidence to engage customers, train educators, present to large audiences, and collaborate across countries and functions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a regional environment, travelling regularly, and engaging with clients and internal teams across Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, and, when needed, other LATAM markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and validate customized solution blueprints for complex deals, major initiatives, and strategic customer opportunities.

  • Lead feasibility studies, needs assessments, dependency mapping, and risk assessments for complex proposals and bid responses.

  • Act as a key advisor during pre-sales cycles, helping shape solutions that are commercially viable, academically relevant, and operationally achievable.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, academic consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure strong solution alignment.

  • Support proposal development by reviewing draft responses, identifying gaps, strengthening solution integrity, and sharing best practices.

  • Troubleshoot technical, academic, or implementation requirements raised during the sales or proposal process.

  • Deliver training, presentations, and consultative sessions for customers, teachers, internal teams, or large audiences when required.

  • Mentor peers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, innovation, and high-quality solutioning.

  • Build strong working relationships with customers and internal partners, balancing academic credibility, customer centricity, and commercial awareness.

  • Travel regularly across Argentina and other Southern Cone or LATAM markets to support client visits, training sessions, events, and strategic opportunities.

Required skills and experience:

  • Academic background or professional experience in English Language Learning (ELL), education, teacher training, educational technology, or related fields.

  • Fluency in English and confidence communicating with customers, teachers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Based in Argentina, preferably in Buenos Aires or surrounding areas.

  • Experience in solutioning, pre-sales, academic consultancy, technical architecture, or other customer-facing advisory roles.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver complex solutions that address customer needs and business objectives.

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and training skills, including experience engaging large audiences.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships, mentor peers, and work effectively across teams.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate complex concepts into practical solutions.

  • Adaptability, curiosity, and interest in leveraging Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies to improve customer outcomes and business performance.

  • Availability to travel regularly (approximately 25%–30% of the time).
