MontrealFullTimePosted Jul 28, 2026

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋

*Please note this is an 18 months full time temporary position

Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!

We’re looking for a Workday Specialist, Talent Insights & Reporting to join our Talent and Insights team. You will scale our Workday reporting infrastructure - extracting raw workforce data, auditing data quality, and supporting impactful visualization initiatives. You will bridge the gap between back-end data and high-level strategy, collaborating with HR leaders, Finance, and cross-functional teams to deliver insights that advance business goals and enrich the employee experience. Shape how our business uses data to power people strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting and Visualization

  • Design, build, and maintain custom Workday reports across various Workday modules (Core HCM, Talent, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Time/Absence).

  • Utilize Workday’s advanced reporting tools, including Advanced, Matrix, Trending, and Composite report types.

  • Develop end-to-end solutions by translating complex business requirements into scalable and efficient reporting solutions.

  • Extract data from Workday and other HR systems, analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to workforce demographics, performance, compensation, turnover, and other HR metrics.

Data Governance and Integrity

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data quality checks and validation procedures and by routinely auditing source data and reporting logic.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures.

  • Monitor report performance, optimizing complex calculated fields to ensure fast load times and clean system performance.

  • Maintain and evolve our report inventory management practices to ensure stakeholders have reliable data sources.

Audit

  • Build, maintain, and enhance audit reports that support a wide range of audit controls.

  • Partner with internal and external auditors to develop scalable, accurate, and consistent audit reporting processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Workday reporting capabilities, advising stakeholders on best practices and feasible solutions.

  • Partner with People Business Partners, Finance, IT and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.

  • Support business initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations and analysis.

  • Conduct Knowledge transfer sessions to promote data literacy and support the development of best reporting practices.

  • Work as a strategic partner to stakeholders and contribute to the execution of the Insights roadmap initiatives

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in the Workday reporting ecosystem and large data sets.

  • Expert-level proficiency in creating complex Calculated Fields, with a mastery of Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query)

  • Proven track record of building and managing high-stakes reports, such as Board of Directors decks, Sustainability (ESG) reporting, or Cyclical Reports.

  • Experience in maintaining data integrity across enterprise HR systems and conducting audits

  • Experience working within or closely with a People function, handling highly confidential data, demonstrating a deep understanding of HR lifecycles (Recruitment, Turnover, Compensation, and Diversity metrics) and people data metrics.

  • As a global company with employees and customers outside of Quebec, English proficiency is required for this role.

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Statistics, Data Science, or any combination of training and experience relevant for the role

  • Background working as an HR Business Analyst or Data Analyst

  • Experience working with People Analytics tools (Prism, Looker, Tableau, etc.)

  • Workday Pro Certification (Reporting)
