About the job

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Google’s ecosystem grows when consumers can discover, connect with, and deeply engage with Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs). Our team builds the foundational platform capabilities and merchant-facing tools that help SMBs establish their presence and succeed on Google.

Your primary mission will be to partner with Google's Consumer product teams—including Search, Maps, Discover, YouTube, and Gemini—to identify, design, and launch new products and features that drive organic discovery and foster deeper consumer-to-business engagement. You will focus on creating compelling, high-value organic experiences that deliver mutual value for both consumers (finding and interacting meaningfully with SMBs) and businesses (e.g., gaining organic reach, customer connections, and engagement).

To power these experiences, you will also collaborate with SMBs directly and work closely with 3P aggregators, software platforms, and data partners.

Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product outlook to elevate organic SMB discovery and build deeper consumer-to-business engagement across Search, Maps, Discover, YouTube, and Gemini.
  • Collaborate directly with product, engineering, and UX leaders across Search, Geo/Maps, YouTube, Discover, and Gemini to co-build features that connect consumers directly to local and online SMBs.
  • Partner with 3P platforms, aggregators, and software providers to bring in the structured data, inventory, and operational capabilities required to power next-generation engagement features.
  • Build experiences that deliver clear, measurable organic value—helping consumers make informed decisions while helping SMBs build durable customer relationships.
  • Build consensus and align product roadmaps across internal consumer teams and external partner ecosystems without direct authority.
