YOUR ROLE

As a Key Account Manager for EU Institutions, you will manage and grow a portfolio of strategic institutional clients while identifying new opportunities across European bodies. You will strengthen our presence at senior decision-making levels, expand our footprint within the EU ecosystem, and contribute to shaping high-impact public-sector initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand relationships with EU Institutions in Belgium.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing frameworks/contracts and develop new leads across EU bodies.
  • Lead strategic engagements with senior stakeholders (e.g., Heads of Unit, Directors, CIOs, procurement and programme managers).
  • Promote our full services portfolio, including framework contracts, fixed-price projects, managed services, and time & material engagements.
  • Shape and respond to complex tenders and proposals in collaboration with delivery teams and solution architects.
  • Drive the full sales lifecycle, ensuring compliance with public procurement rules and delivering mutual value for both the Institutions and Capgemini.
  • Represent the company at EU-related events, institutional forums, and partner ecosystems in Brussels.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 4–10 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within IT consulting or technology services, ideally in the EU public sector.
  • Proven track record working with EU Institutions, international organisations, or government entities.
  • Experience with public procurement processes (framework contracts, tenders, RfPs) and delivery models (fixed-price, managed services, T&M).
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, IT services, and consulting value propositions in the public sector context.
  • Ability to navigate complex institutional environments and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Professional proficiency in English (knowledge of additional EU languages is a plus).
  • Proactive, structured, and capable of building long-term strategic partnerships within a multicultural and multinational environment.
