HR Business Partner
About the Role
As Human Resources Business Partner, you will partner with leaders and employees across NOV Denmark to deliver strategic and operational HR support aligned with business objectives. While primarily supporting the Subsea Production Systems (SPS) business, you will collaborate across the Denmark organization as business needs evolve.
You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping build organizational capability, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and enable business performance through effective people strategies. Working closely with NOV's Centres of Excellence, you will support workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, employee engagement, and change initiatives while ensuring compliance with Danish employment legislation and NOV policies. The role combines strategic partnership with operational HR delivery, balancing business partnering with the execution and oversight of core HR processes to support sustainable business performance across NOV Denmark.

- Partner with business leaders across NOV Denmark to align people strategies with business objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with managers and employees through coaching, guidance and proactive HR partnership.
- Build manager capability by providing coaching, guidance and practical HR solutions that strengthen leadership effectiveness.
- Support workforce planning and organizational design in partnership with business leaders.
- Support talent reviews, succession planning and development planning to strengthen future organizational capability.
- Lead and support organizational change initiatives and business transformation activities.
- Analyse workforce and people metrics to identify trends, risks and opportunities and recommend business-focused actions.
- Promote employee engagement and continuously improve the employee experience by supporting leaders with action planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to simplify HR processes and improve operational efficiency through continuous improvement.
- Support inclusive leadership practices that foster collaboration, engagement and equal development opportunities.
- Partner closely with HR Centres of Excellence including Organizational Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll and Talent Acquisition.
- Ensure compliance with Danish Employment Law, NOV policies and HR governance.
- Manage day-to-day HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions and offboarding.
- Monitor HR data quality and use workforce information to support business decisions and reporting.
- Ensure HR policies, employment legislation and administrative processes are consistently applied.
- Travel between Denmark locations when required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of professional HR experience
- Minimum 3- 5 years' experience as an HR Business Partner
- Strong knowledge of Danish Employment Law
- Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering or industrial organizations
- Fluent in Danish and English

- Master's Degree or relevant HR qualification
- Experience within Energy, Manufacturing or Industrial sectors
- Experience supporting matrix organizations
- Experience leading organizational change initiatives
