The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Works Coordinator to join our Energy & Utilities team. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll play a critical role in coordinating work orders, dispatching field resources, monitoring job progress, and ensuring service delivery commitments are met across multiple contracts throughout New Zealand.
Working within a collaborative operations team, you'll be the central point of contact for field crews, supervisors, subcontractors and clients, ensuring work is scheduled efficiently and completed in line with contractual KPIs and service level agreements. This role also provides the opportunity to leverage systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI and Genesys, helping improve operational performance through reporting, data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people, solving problems and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and dispatch work orders to field crews and subcontractors using Dynamics 365.
- Monitor job progress and KPI performance, ensuring service requests are completed on time.
- Act as the key liaison between clients, field teams, supervisors and subcontractors.
- Produce operational reports and analyse performance data using Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
- Support workforce planning, resource allocation and escalation management across multiple contracts.

What We're Looking For
- Experience in works coordination, scheduling, logistics, customer service or a similar operational role.
- Strong systems capability, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI or similar workforce management platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with a focus on customer service, KPI performance and continuous improvement.
