Job Description:

The Global Third Party Program (GTPP) organization oversees execution of Bank of America’s Global Third Party Program requirements and is responsible for enterprise procurement, sourcing, third-party management, and ensuring effective third-party risk management across the enterprise.

The Third Party Technology, Data, and Reporting team, under the direction of the Data & Reporting Executive, is responsible for:

  • Identifying insights from GTPP data and designing visualizations that proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities, improving operational effectiveness and supporting more informed business decisions.

  • Driving the tools and reporting required to accelerate the transformation from manual processes to scalable, information-driven operations, enabling greater automation, faster identification of insights and anomalies, and more efficient problem-solving and risk mitigation.

  • Ensuring the consistent quality of activities, processes, and outputs by establishing effective review practices across teams.

This role requires the ability to take complex, high-volume data and translate it into visual representations that facilitate better decision-making, risk management, trend analysis, and overall third-party risk reduction across the company.

This position offers an opportunity to deliver impactful insights and executive-level reporting by leveraging industry-leading tools and platforms, including Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI, to help inform strategic decision-making and drive GTPP's strategic direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive rapid data acquisition of disparate data sets required for Third Party Health measurement, and produce crisp and efficient data visualizations for MTM and senior leaders

  • Develop executive ready communications and presentations that synthesize data and tell the story.

  • Execution of critical business controls, metrics and monitoring; early identification and escalation of risk or breaches; identification and on-time execution of GSEP owned issues

  • Participate in audits or exams as necessary related to programs owned across GSEP

  • Identify and promote improvements and simplification in how work is executed

  • Manages multiple priorities in a matrixed environment with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Communicates effectively to influence agreement between partners and escalates items, as needed, to ensure execution activities remain on track

  • Supports the extraction of data using a variety of a programming languages, such as SQL, SAS, Python, or Spark/Scala, and applies knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems housed on both on-premise and off-premise (hybrid) platforms

  • Connects provisioned data across multiple sources and performs necessary transformations utilizing both technical, business, and process knowledge to transform data into meaningful values and insights

  • Performs quantitative techniques and analysis on customer, transaction, and performance data with the guidance from other analysts and supervisors, based on questions provided by business partners, and provides actionable insights for business partners to make informed decisions.

  • Follows requirements developed by other analysts and supervisors to perform required research, analytics, and exploration on appropriate and accurate data sources to provide appropriate deliverables

  • Communicates complex subjects in a simple and engaging manner to non-technical and technical business partners using software such as Power Point, Word, Excel, and Tableau

  • Assists with conducting quality comparison checks on analysis output and escalates data inconsistencies, gaps, or issues to leadership

  • Follows quality workflow process and documentation requirements to adhere to standards and provide business continuity

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, with an investigative mindset and ability to use data to enhance efficiency and develop reporting to drive business insights.

  • Proven ability to develop executive ready communications and presentations that synthesize data and tell the story

  • 7+ years’ experience using database software and analytical tools, such as SAS, SQL to access large databases.

  • 5+ years’ experience developing scorecards and data visualization by leveraging emerging BI technologies: Power BI and/or Tableau

  • Advanced proficiency in MS365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot)

  • Strong analytical, risk management and organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail

  • Prior experience managing multiple projects and adjusting to changing deadlines

  • Proactive in identifying what needs to be done and taking appropriate action

  • Ability to think strategically across businesses (connect the dots) to identify opportunities to improve overall performance efficiency

  • Ability to design and improve processes and procedures for optimum efficiency

  • Strong partnership and relationship building skills with the ability to influence. Has worked with Global team-mates

  • Proactive and highly organized with attention to detail, strong time management skills, follow through and sense of urgency

  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and executive presence

Pay range

$80,000.00 - $130,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
