Vice President Joint Venture Partnerships

Fort Lauderdale · Houston, TXFull-timePosted Jul 29, 2026

The Vice President, Joint Venture Partnerships is a dedicated lead executive responsible for at least one of Hotwire Communications' joint venture partnerships, serving as the primary day-to-day counterpart to the partner company's executive leadership. Reporting to the Chief Partnership Officer within the Partnerships, Launch & Integration organization, this leader is responsible and accountable for the health, performance, and long-term trajectory of the JV relationship(s) they are assigned, from onboarding through steady-state operations and growth.

The VP represents Hotwire at the partner's executive table and represents the partner's voice inside Hotwire, ensuring commitments are met, governance runs with discipline, and stakeholders stay aligned on strategy and performance. The ideal candidate is a polished, commercially fluent executive who can operate with significant autonomy as the key executive representing Hotwire, serving as an advocate for Hotwire, the health of the joint venture, building deep trust with stakeholders and C-level principals, and translating relationship intelligence into positive operational outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for the assigned Joint Venture (JV), building trusted, long-lasting relationships with the partner company's executives, principals, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the partner's business, portfolio, capital priorities, and operating culture, and how they intersect with the Joint Venture's mission and business plan. Continue to build and expand relationship points of contact within the partner organization to ensure effective continuity for both the Joint Venture and the partnership.
  • Establish a disciplined executive engagement cadence with standing check-ins, business updates, and quarterly business reviews, fostering open and direct discussions that provide candid and authentic feedback from all stakeholders.
  • Be solely accountable for the preparation and delivery of JV board meetings, governance discussions, and performance reviews, partnering with the Chief Partnership Officer, Finance, and Legal to develop content, materials, presentations, narratives, and proposals.
  • Track JV commitments, milestones, KPIs, and financial performance, ensuring both partners have accurate and timely visibility while driving open proposals and action items through decision and execution.
  • Maintain alignment between the JV's operating plan and each partner's strategic priorities, identifying misalignment early and presenting options for timely resolution.
  • Represent the Joint Venture within both Hotwire and the partner organization. Within Hotwire, coordinate across Onboarding, New Construction Launch, Program Management, Construction, Field Operations, Sales, Account Management, Customer Care, Legal, Billing, and Finance to deliver on JV commitments.
  • Be solely accountable for executive escalations from end to end by establishing clear escalation paths, mobilizing the appropriate internal stakeholders, communicating status candidly and transparently to both Hotwire and partner teams, and ensuring issues are resolved with documented follow-up.
  • Identify risks to the partnership or the Joint Venture before they become disruptive to ongoing operations, resolving issues at their root cause to prevent recurrence.
  • Identify and develop expansion opportunities within the JV, including new communities, development phases, products, markets, and services. Coordinate closely with Sales, Business Development, Product Development, and Executive Leadership.
  • Develop a repeatable process from onboarding through launch, activation, and steady-state operations, ensuring all stakeholders experience consistency and exceptional performance throughout the entire lifecycle.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Partnership Officer and members of the executive leadership team by providing insight into JV relationship health, partner sentiment, and opportunities and risks affecting the long-term success of the Joint Venture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
