Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related engineering/quantitative field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, FP&A, or corporate finance (preferably within manufacturing or automotive industries).
- Solid knowledge of cost accounting concepts (Cost per Unit, variance analysis, labor/overhead absorption, inventory, and scrap control).
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and budget preparation.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance frameworks, and audit readiness.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interact with cross-functional plant teams.
- Language: Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) for regional and global reporting.
Position Duties
- Costing & Financial Analysis: Perform Cost per Unit analysis, SWPC (Standard Work Performance Control), overhead analysis & forecasting, scrap reconciliation, and reserve controls.
- Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare internal cost reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and month-end) and external reporting (including Wolf, A35 reporting, Freeze Review support, and Forecast & Cost Roadmap reporting).
- Budgeting & Business Planning: Support the preparation of the Business Plan (BP), operating budgets, launch cost controls, and financial scorecards/metrics.
- Labor & Operational Finance: Conduct labor analysis, labor forecasting, absenteeism cost control, and accuracy reporting (Time Keeping, TER, FAB Card).
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure full adherence to internal controls, MCRP completion, GIS1 compliance, Desk Procedures maintenance, and financial review/approval of CORA.
- Accounting & Transactional Oversight: Manage supplier chargebacks, intercompany charges, PN control, and project reviews, approvals, and processing.
- Business Partnering & Continuous Improvement: Provide financial valuation for 6-Sigma projects and the Employee Suggestion Program; offer financial support for Ford Production System (FPS) initiatives and special plant projects.
Preferred Requirements
- Education / Certifications: Master’s Degree (MBA or Master in Finance) or relevant professional certifications (CPA, CMA, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
- Experience & System Knowledge:
- Prior experience working within Ford Motor Company or a major Tier-1 automotive supplier.
- Direct experience with Ford proprietary systems and finance tools (e.g., Wolf, CORA, MCRP, A35 Reporting, GIS1, FPS).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, QAD, or equivalent enterprise systems) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Alteryx, Qlik Sense).
- Experience evaluating launch costs, engineering changes, and 6-Sigma continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Language: Business Fluent English (C1/C2).
