Citi is looking for a Data Quality Lead Analyst to take ownership of data quality standards across international operations, ensuring that data sourced and provisioned meets rigorous quality benchmarks that underpin regulatory compliance and business performance. In this role, you will lead day-to-day data quality activities, manage issue resolution end-to-end, contribute directly to Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) compliance requirements and support international data remediation efforts within both CEP and CGME legal entities (ECB findings on RDARR compliance). You will work with Citi's International Enterprise Data Office, Risk PMO, DART and local Risk stripes and play a central role in closing execution gaps and ensuring data demands are met with precision and consistency.
Candidate will also have a dotted line into the CEP Head of Governance and Risk Management.
What you will do:
* Drive the measurement of data quality, producing insightful dashboards and reports to track performance.
* Lead data improvement initiatives, including the development of new processes and tools to enhance data integrity.
* Liaise with business partners across the firm to understand data challenges and align on effective solutions.
* Review data quality analysis, identify issues, and manage them through the appropriate resolution channels.
* Oversee day-to-day activities to support the prompt resolution of data quality concerns and optimize reporting.
* Report and escalate data quality issues in line with our established management processes.
* Support senior management’s strategic vision for data governance and quality.
* Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with policies and safeguarding the firm's reputation.
What we need from you:
* 6+ years of experience defining and implementing data quality programs, preferably within the banking or finance industry.
* Risk Management experience and understanding is essential.
* Regulatory compliance experience is a must have.
* A comprehensive understanding of how different business areas integrate and contribute to shared objectives.
* Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to unexpected changes in requirements.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
* A collaborative mindset, with a strong history of building partnerships to meet shared goals.
* The ability to work effectively under pressure and facilitate productive discussions.
