Responsibilities:

  • Act as an ambassador for our brand by delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and service targets.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Convert customer enquiries into sales through effective selling and relationship management.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of products, promotions and industry trends.
  • Actively monitor sales performance and take ownership of achieving results.
  • Ensure store presentation, visual merchandising and stock levels are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Contribute to the overall profitability and success of the store.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).

Skills:

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Success in a commission-based sales environment will be highly advantageous, as we're looking for individuals driven by results, customer relationships, and sales success.
  • Passionate about engaging with people and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially minded with a results-driven approach.
  • Self-motivated, energetic and confident in closing sales opportunities.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong business development and customer acquisition skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative, resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and hands-on attitude.
  • Organised, detail-oriented and administratively strong.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of service.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the business, including weekends, public holidays and evening shifts.
  • Previous experience in a target-driven, commission-based or customer-focused sales environment will be advantageous.
  • Furniture industry experience is advantageous but not required.
