We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to work on a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives.
What you'll be doing:
- Build, maintain, and document CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Provision and manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Terraform
- Manage and optimize AWS environments including ECS, S3, Lambda, and RDS
- Support and maintain Docker containers and debug containerized workloads
- Help define and build a modern data science and development environment using tools like SageMaker, DataZone, and Athena
- Support Linux-based systems and contribute to DevOps best practices across the team
What you’ll bring:
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline engineering
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools including CloudFormation and Terraform
- Strong AWS experience across core services including ECS, S3, Lambda, and RDS
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments
- Familiarity with data science platforms such as SageMaker, DataZone, or Athena
- Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional team
- Communicates clearly and openly, whether documenting infrastructure decisions or collaborating with engineers
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:

Compensation:
At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.
United States Wage Range: $125,000 – $160,000
