The opportunity
Field Service Engineer
Are you passionate about solving technical challenges and working directly with customers? As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of power and energy equipment. You will work closely with customers to ensure reliable operation, provide technical expertise, and build strong relationships that contribute to long-term success.
This role offers the opportunity to work independently, develop your technical expertise, and make a visible impact on customer satisfaction and business growth. You will collaborate with experienced professionals while continuously expanding your knowledge of products, systems, and customer applications.
How you'll make an impact
- Perform commissioning, installation, testing, and troubleshooting activities for customer equipment.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during startup and operational phases.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers on products and solutions.
- Recommend equipment upgrades and improvements based on customer needs.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer on equipment features and functionality.
- Support customers in resolving implementation and operational challenges.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support future business opportunities.
- Ensure service activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
- Prepare technical reports and service documentation as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in field service, commissioning, installation, or maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
- Experience interacting directly with customers in a technical environment.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in dynamic environments.
- Fluent English communication skills are preferred.
