Position Overview
Hospitality Health ER is seeking a Floor Technician who takes pride in creating clean, polished, and welcoming spaces. This role plays an essential part in maintaining the appearance and safety of our facility by ensuring all flooring and common areas are consistently cared for and presented at the highest standard.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated to deliver exceptional results. They understand that a well-maintained environment contributes to a positive experience for every patient, visitor, and employee.
What You'll Do
As a Floor Technician, you'll help preserve the appearance and functionality of our facility by:
- Maintaining hard surface floors through stripping, refinishing, waxing, buffing, and polishing.
- Operating and properly caring for floor machines, buffers, vacuums, extractors, shampooers, and other environmental services equipment.
- Following a rotating schedule to ensure all flooring throughout the facility is consistently maintained.
- Cleaning, spot treating, extracting, and maintaining area rugs to keep them looking their best.
- Inspecting upholstered furniture and ensuring it remains clean, presentable, and guest-ready.
- Changing privacy curtains in patient rooms on a routine schedule.
- Moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to complete floor maintenance safely and efficiently.
- Reporting maintenance concerns, equipment issues, safety hazards, or areas requiring additional attention to the Environmental Services Supervisor.
- Completing daily assignments while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.
- Following all company policies and procedures while contributing to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to safely operate environmental services equipment or learn equipment operation through on-the-job training.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and operating floor care equipment throughout the shift.
