Build Your Career in International Banking

Are you a strong communicator who enjoys solving problems, coordinating across teams, and ensuring financial transactions are completed accurately? Join the WCIBO Global Trade & Standby Services Reconciliation and Payments team and help support international banking activity throughout the transaction lifecycle.

In this role, you will work in a fast-paced production environment supporting Global Trade & Standby Services, or GTSS, and Foreign Exchange, or FX, banking products. You will collaborate with onshore and offshore partners, review transaction documentation, reconcile activity, and help ensure payments and trade transactions are completed accurately and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with international banking experience or foundational knowledge gained through international business, international studies, banking operations, or a related field. The team is prepared to provide role-specific training, but candidates should bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in developing within international banking operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the processing of GTSS and FX banking products at various stages of the transaction lifecycle

  • Review, execute, and reconcile transactions and related documentation

  • Facilitate trade transactions, payments, settlements, investigations, and disbursements

  • Coordinate workflow and communicate effectively with onshore and offshore business partners

  • Review information for completeness and accuracy against established service levels, policies, procedures, and transaction terms

  • Research and help resolve transaction, payment, settlement, or reconciliation issues

  • Provide clear written and verbal communication to internal partners and customers

  • Ensure the appropriate documentation, information, and capacity are available to complete transactions

  • Support a production-focused environment in which accuracy, timeliness, and effective coordination are essential

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least one year of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reading comprehension and the ability to provide clear written responses

  • Foundational knowledge of international banking, trade services, foreign exchange, payments, or related financial products

  • Strong problem-solving, research, and client service skills

  • Ability to review detailed information for completeness and accuracy

  • Ability to coordinate effectively across onshore and offshore teams

  • General knowledge of the international products and services offered by the company

  • Proficiency navigating multiple systems and software packages, including Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven production environment

  • Experience in banking operations, transaction processing, reconciliation, payments, settlements, or financial services

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $24.18 - $32.21
