Job Description

The high-growth Digital Partnerships team in NBCUniversal's Advertising & Partnerships division is seeking an exceptional, results-oriented individual to implement the strategy and operations for our revenue generating social media product line to join as the Manager, Partnerships – Social Media. You will provide subject matter expertise across the NBCU portfolio when pitching and operating social campaigns.  To be successful, you must demonstrate strong analytical skills, be highly organized, and thrive when problem solving.

You'll need to possess a deep understanding of how major social media ad platforms work, is analytical, and is results-oriented.  You will be responsible for implementing the execution of all Ad Sales revenue generating, paid social campaigns – effectively optimizing and ensuring campaigns meet and exceed performance goals across the NBCUniversal portfolio. You'll collaborate with cross-functional internal and partner teams to manage the front-end social strategies that meet and exceed client objectives and KPIs, distribute product & platform updates, streamline operational processes, and oversee the execution & optimizations of campaigns.

The Social Partnerships Team builds and operates a portfolio of ad sales partnerships with leading and emerging digital platforms, including TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and more. That includes identifying profitable revenue opportunities, developing the structure, capabilities, go-to-market strategies, and execution plans necessary to capture growth opportunities and driving those plans to implementation and through ongoing operations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to implement strategy and execution of end-to-end revenue generating, paid social media campaigns that meet & exceed client KPIs (or success metrics).
  • Provide subject matter expertise and tactical strategic recommendations including audience and content development across all paid social platforms to internal Sales, Marketing, and Planning teams.
  • Lead all aspects of paid social operations including communicating product updates, assisting with strategy development, revenue growth, and troubleshooting platform issues.
  • Driving go-forward plans and getting upstream with social-first content recommendations – leading the education with cross-functional stakeholdersLead the development of go-forward strategies by driving social-first content recommendations, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to educate and align on best practices.
  • Own the day-to-day operations with hands-on paid social media management, including optimization strategies and techniques, bidding models/cost management, audience development, and ad unit specifications across a variety of social platforms (Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, X, etc).
  • Oversee the monitoring of daily campaign pacing with a team of social experts; pull, analyze and leverage insights to identify optimization opportunities and implement enhancements.
  • Build relationships with core internal and external partners, stay up-to-date with platform changes, and act as a trend-spotter to bring first-to-market paid social opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience preferably in digital/social media buying.
  • 3+ years of hands-on paid social media buying with Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, X, etc.
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Dependable, committed individual, especially with regards to monitoring critical social campaigns in the evenings and weekends.
  • Experience directly mentoring and/or managing staff.
  • Multitasker who can manage multiple processes in parallel with a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Proficient in Excel, strong analytical skills, comfortable with pivot tables, formulas, and organizing/understanding large data sets.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and practical. Know how to prioritize effectively to get things done.

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000 + bonus eligible
