About the team: Levenfeld Pearlstein (LP) is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the firm’s Accounting and Finance functions. This role will assist with daily cash activity, accounts payable, vendor maintenance, payment processing, bank reconciliations, monthly and quarterly reporting support, and related accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with financial systems and documentation, and able to balance recurring deadlines with day-to-day priorities in a collaborative professional services environment. 

Experience that makes you a fit:

  • Creating/Updating A/P vendors ACH/Wire templates
  • Executing FOM-EOM AP payments
  • Performing verbal confirmation on A/P vendors with changes in their electronic instructions
  • Placing cancellations and stopping payments in Aderant and Wintrust
  • Sending follow up emails to requestors for outstanding AP Checks from over 6 months
  • Updating A/P vendors payment methods, addresses, etc.
  • Creating payment schedules, confirming receipts, invoices, and following up with any missing transactions 
  • Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Assisting with pulling and filing of month end financial reports
  • Reconciling/reviewing monthly account analysis workbook
  • Creating quarterly lease reports/packets
  • Uploading USPTO into Aderant

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical skills (Aderant, Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail
