The Vice President, Internal Communications is a key contributor within Tradeweb’s global Communications team, based in our New York City headquarters. The role will support the continued evolution of Tradeweb’s employee communications program as the company grows and scales, helping keep employees informed, engaged and connected while reinforcing our culture across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
We are looking for a communications professional with broad experience in employee engagement and internal communications, ideally within financial services or another regulated industry. The successful candidate will be an exceptional writer, a confident presenter and a collaborative partner who can work effectively with varying levels of direction, ask thoughtful questions and anticipate communications needs.
This individual should be curious about AI and emerging communications technologies, comfortable learning new tools and formats, and energized by a role where strategic, tactical and creative work often happen in the same day.
Job Responsibilities
Content, Channels and Innovation
- Compose and distribute clear, concise and engaging employee communications aligned with a consistent company tone and style.
- Support leadership and executive communications, including advising senior leaders directly on messaging and framing, as appropriate.
- Contribute to an integrated internal communications editorial calendar across channels to support content quality, coordination, timing and visibility.
- Proactively identify communications opportunities and advise stakeholders on the appropriate content, channels, timing and formats to address employee needs.
- Develop presentations and visual content that support clear, engaging and brand-aligned communications.
- Support the planning and delivery of employee events, including town halls, Inclusion and Belonging programs and volunteer initiatives.
- Explore approved AI tools, emerging technologies and new communications formats that can improve reach, efficiency and engagement.
Strategic Support and Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders across Tradeweb’s business lines and functions to support communications for business initiatives, company news, culture, executive priorities, events and organizational change.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and colleagues across the organization, including partners in Human Resources, Business Services, Legal, Compliance and Risk.
- Collaborate with regional communications colleagues to coordinate messaging and support employees across regions and time zones.
- Translate complex business, financial or organizational topics into clear and accessible communications.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive, confidential or high-stakes information.
- Support employee communications for business continuity, operational incidents and other time-sensitive situations, as needed.
Analytics and Reporting
- Build and maintain analytics and reporting across internal communications channels.
- Establish measures of success and use communications performance data and employee feedback to identify trends and recommend improvements to content, channels and approach.
Team Contribution
- Share knowledge, provide informal guidance to colleagues and help facilitate two-way feedback across the organization.
Qualifications
Experience
- 6+ years of progressively responsible communications experience, with a strong focus on internal or employee communications.
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting communications for a large, complex or geographically dispersed organization is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Skills
- Exceptional writing, editing, presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
- Ability to work effectively from both limited direction and detailed stakeholder input, asking thoughtful questions, identifying gaps and anticipating needs.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines without compromising quality.
- Curiosity about AI, emerging communications technologies and new content formats, with the ability to learn and apply approved tools quickly and responsibly.

- The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $120,000 to $160,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
