Learn more at concentricusa.com.Job SummaryThe Automation Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including but not limited to racking, dock & doors, Robotics and Conveyor systems.Must have 5 years Minimum Experience in Automation! Must also have own tools, strong technology skills, strong office skills, self-motivated, organization skills, great communication skills, relationship building skills, team building skills, and works well under pressure in all situations. And able to work assigned schedule.Will be responsible for the following:Point of contact for customersPerforming and completing PMs & repairs.Facilitate work/Repair request.Provide shift coverage & fill in for PTO request.Willing to be On CallCommunicate PTO coverage plans with direct supervisor & or customers.Coordinate and drive warranty requestsFacilitate outside vendor work (PO process and billing)Facilitate all outside of scope work.Parts Ordering and Inventory Management (5S Inventory Skills)Fill out and complete daily work orders.Attend and complete Monthly safety training requirements.Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis. Including research of potential warranty, rework and continuously repetitive repairs using historical equipment data available through Field Connect service platform.Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer’s repair guidelines.Judgment and Decision Making - Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.Inspecting Equipment - Perform audits on equipment audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.Communications - Provide information to supervisor and co-workers by phone, in writing, e-mail, or in person.Timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time keeping platform.SafetyAll work must be completed in a safe manner.Safety requirements by customer and Concentric must be adhered to.Work areas will be maintained to ensure safety.Work areas will be kept clean and organized daily.Timely Completion of Safety training modules.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Key Performance Measurements:A score card that reflects performance in areas such as:PM CompletionTech EfficiencyCustomer SatisfactionInventory VarianceWork in ProgressSafetyShop Cleanliness & 5SManagement observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information.Other key performance indicators as assigned.
