How You'll Make a Difference

Reporting to the Head of Finance Systems, you will own the full release lifecycle across Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management. You'll plan, govern, test, and deploy monthly and quarterly Oracle updates alongside internal change requests, working closely with the Finance Systems team, third party delivery partners, and business stakeholders across a business that spans mainland Europe, the UK, and Republic of Ireland. 
This is a 9 month FTC opportunity, with 1 day per month expected to be in the Keynsham office.

Core tasks;

  • Build and maintain the Oracle release calendar, presenting plans and roadmaps to the business
  • Coordinate regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, confirming risks are identified and mitigated before go live
  • Lead deployment and cutover planning, producing detailed runbooks and coordinating production releases
  • Take releases through the Change Enablement Board and other governance forums, keeping documentation and audit evidence in order
  • Monitor system stability after each release, track incidents, and run post implementation reviews to capture lessons learned
  • Communicating updates / changes to the business and being the point of contact for Oracle releases & major incidents

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

We're looking for a capable release professional who brings:

  • At least 3 years of release management experience within Oracle ERP and EPM environments
  • Working knowledge of Oracle release cycles and change request processes
  • Confidence using Jira to manage release activity, track work, and report progress
  • A solid grasp of the software development lifecycle, testing methods, and deployment practice
  • Experience working with third party managed services teams
  • A base understanding of Oracle Cloud Financial modules (desirable)
  • Experience in large, complex environments with high users base & integrations
