Job Description
The Role
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will develop coordinated talent and workforce plans for our global manufacturing and MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology) organizations of approximately 2400 employees across production, tech transfer, and engineering. As a trusted advisor to primarily VP leaders, this individual will apply deep HR, business, and organizational expertise to address complex cross-functional challenges, strengthen workforce capability, and translate enterprise strategy into action. The role will also coach and support HRBPs across countries or regions and direct resources for major talent and organizational initiatives, regardless of formal reporting lines.
Key responsibilities
- Translate enterprise, business group, and functional priorities into coordinated talent and workforce plans that advance both near- and long-term objectives across an assigned portfolio.
- Strengthen organizational and leadership capability by advising VP/AVP leaders on organization design, succession, M&A, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Improve the quality of enterprise talent decisions by calibrating succession and talent trade-offs across businesses and leading the people and capability review cycle for C-suite direct reports.
- Resolve complex, cross-functional workforce challenges by combining data, external perspective, and deep expertise into clear recommendations for senior and executive leaders.
- Increase the consistency and impact of HR partnership by coaching HRBPs across countries and regions and directing project or program resources toward shared outcomes.
- Lead a team of HRBPs and consultants in the region. Enable seamless HR delivery by acting as one team across business leaders, HRBPs, Centers of Excellence, and Shared Services, while seeking better solutions that reduce complexity and create value.
Qualifications
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree and relevant certifications a plus.
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with a record of operating as a senior advisor in complex, global organizations.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience while partnering with leaders in global manufacturing, supply chain and related functions.
- Recognized expertise in strategic talent, organizational development, workforce planning, and organizational consulting.
- Experience partnering as a trusted advisor to VP+ and executive leaders on complex, high-impact organizational and talent matters.
- Demonstrated ability to influence strategic and tactical plans and lead multidisciplinary initiatives with broad, lasting organizational impact.
- Strong business, financial, and HR acumen, with executive presence and sophisticated consulting and coaching capabilities.
- Ability to translate workforce data and external trends into compelling insights and actionable recommendations.
- Ability to direct work through influence, coach other HR professionals, and deliver across multiple priorities, geographies, and reporting relationships.
- Fluency with AI-enabled HR capabilities and their implications for work, skills, and workforce strategy.
