Manager, HR Business Partner (Aetna Clinical Solutions)

Role Summary

As a Manager, HR Business Partner supporting Aetna Clinical Solutions (ACS), you will partner with business leaders and their teams to translate business priorities into actionable HR strategies and support execution of key initiatives.
 

In this role, you will provide data-driven insights and practical HR solutions that strengthen organizational effectiveness, talent outcomes, and colleague experience within your assigned client groups. You will work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver consistent, high-quality HR support aligned to business needs.

This role supports multiple newly established teams with new leaders and requires the ability to build relationships quickly, establish effective operating rhythms, and support evolving organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand priorities, challenges, and workforce needs; translate them into actionable HR strategies across assigned client groups
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations on talent, organizational effectiveness, and workforce trends to inform decision-making
  • Advise leaders on organization design, role clarity, team effectiveness, and talent management processes (including performance management, succession, and development)
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR COEs to deliver aligned, end-to-end HR solutions, including workforce planning and hiring strategies
  • Leverage HR data, engagement insights, and metrics to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and recommend improvements
  • Support implementation of organizational changes and partner with leaders to effectively communicate change and manage employee impact
  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention, and overall colleague experience
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters and ensure consistent, compliant HR practices aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Reinforce a culture of accountability, inclusion, and high performance within supported teams

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and operate effectively in a matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of HR Business Partner experience
  • Experience supporting VP-level leaders
  • Experience supporting multiple leaders or complex teams
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Experience supporting organizational change or transformation initiatives

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
