Job Description

Performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products. May maintain necessary files and documentation. Utilizes small hand tools and operates material handling equipment including fork lifts, skids, pallet handlers and hand trucks. Prepares and packs goods for shipment; loads and unloads carriers. Unpacks and counts goods received. Routes materials to inspection, stores or other destinations.

As a Shipping/Receiving Support, you will perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. You will unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, and reject unsatisfactory items. You will lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped, post weights and shipping charges, and prepare goods for final shipment. You will examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines, and may prepare kitting packages for assembly production. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and this position is located in Monterrey, Manufacturing.

Your Responsibilities:

Perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, and reject unsatisfactory items.

Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.

Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.

Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.

Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.

May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Work on routine assignments requiring limited judgment.

Interact daily with peers and internal customers to exchange or present factual information.
