Job overview and responsibilities
Manage inside sales responsibility for both assigned and unassigned accounts by assisting region customers with all sales needs including: bookings, rate quotes, pricing, billing problems and all information required.
- Supporting assigned Account Executives – Will handle all incoming sales matters for accounts assigned to Account Executives the ISR is assigned to support. This included handling booking, trucking, rate quotes, billing issues and actively calling assigned accounts to generate revenue when and where opportunities exist or as directed by manager or account executive
- Proactively manages House Accounts and High Value Shipments – Establishes outcall programs to House Accounts to increase region revenue and manages unique and high value bookings such as Temperature Control, Pet Safe
- Special Program Assistance – Assists Account Executives with Market Value Pricing Program, telemarketing, contract rate agreements, special pricing initiatives and promotional trade shows when needed
- Analysis – Assist the sales team in preparing regular reports on flight performances, adhoc pricing report, cargo volume analysis, plus customer fulfillment of their business commitments
- Trouble shooting – Respond to service related issues, keep customers informed of shipment tracing, claim requests in coordination with internal departments
- Other duties – Manage / update DG file to fully comply with CAAC requirements, assisting the sales team with adhoc operational support, complete other tasks assigned by supervisor
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High School
- 2+ years’ experience in cargo sales/operations activities
- Computer booking system
- Must be legally authorized to work in China for any employer without sponsorship
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write, speak and understand both English and Mandarin Chinese
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
