How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead Design-to-Value (DtV) initiatives to improve product competitiveness, customer value, and operational performance.
- Identify cost reduction and productivity opportunities using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
- Analyze product costs, bills of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering data to uncover improvement opportunities.
- Develop data-driven business cases and implement initiatives that support factory productivity and cost optimization goals.
- Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation while monitoring progress, risks, and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with global engineering experts to standardize best practices and drive innovation across product lines.
- Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to deliver practical, scalable, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Support the introduction of new products, materials, technologies, and components, including technology transfer activities and alignment with global standards.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience with power transformer design strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with 3D modeling and design tools; PTC Creo experience preferred.
- Experience with FEA simulation tools such as Creo Simulate, ANSYS, or equivalent.
- Proven success leading engineering projects, delivering measurable savings, and utilizing ERP systems such as SAP.
