Learn more at li.me.We are looking for a German or Italian speaking Bid manager and writer to join our Proposals team. In this role, you will manage and write bids for markets across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) from start to finish, working cross-functionally with Government Affairs, Operations, and other business units as needed. You should have experience with public procurement and tender processes. You need to be a strategic thinker who understands the priorities of local municipalities and have the ability to communicate how Lime can contribute to city success. As part of Lime’s Proposals team, you will report into the Senior Manager, EMEA Proposals. This is primarily an internal-facing role focused on analyzing procurement documents, creating and implementing project plans and processes, drafting bid applications, aligning cross-functional teams in support of our proposal needs and timeline, and delivering final products that are fully researched, vetted, and compliant with the standards of the world’s largest micro-mobility company. The ideal candidate brings expert project and stakeholder management skills, excels at building transparent, cross-functional alignment, and communicates clearly across audiences. You’re process-driven, highly organized, and bring a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to complex challenges. You will need to adapt to different communication styles and be able to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment to produce quality, error-free work. This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates to reside in Rome, Italy to maintain effective collaboration across teams. What You’ll Do:Lead end-to-end bid management, including kickoff, timeline creation, resource alignment, application development, and submissionWrite clear, compelling, and creative content for RFPs, RFIs, administrative permits, and other public procurement processes, often on tight deadlines. Own the review and revision cycle.Drive the development of key themes, narrative, and messaging to ensure that proposals are competitive and resonate with local audiences, in collaboration with our graphic designer and content managerAnalyze proposal document packages from cities, identifying key priorities, criteria, eligibility, and scoringGather insights and build competitive strategies through productive partnerships with our local operations and policy teams as well as a wide range of other cross-functional partners, spread across several countries and time zonesBuild on our established best practices, toolkits, and content library in collaboration with the other proposal team membersTravel to our most important markets on an as-needed basis to strategize and plan for upcoming projects with pre-tender workshops, consultants, and brainstorms with local teams About You:5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a focus on content writing and project managementExperience with reading and analyzing regulations, bid documents, and/or city planning documents within the German or Italian marketExcellent German or Italian writing skills, with a love for the written word.
