Functional Role (Job Description)

NTT DATA is looking for a highly skilled SAP FI/CO Consultant to join our Group Finance Transformation team. This role will function as both a business analyst and a solution architect, responsible for analyzing finance processes, designing SAP solutions and maintaining master data.

To be successful in this position the candidate is an expert in SAP technologies, particularly in the finance domain, with a strong analytical background and excellent problem-solving skills. As well, the candidate will have a high level of enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization. This position will be part of Global Shared Services.

Education Background

B. Com / M. Com / MBA / bachelor’s degree in finance

SAP FI/CO Certification

 

Work Experience

8-10 years of relevant experience

Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, Word. Especially Excel for Data mining/analysis)

SAP FI/CO consulting and finance transformation experience

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Act as a Business Analyst, gathering requirements and analyzing finance and controlling processes.
  • Function as a Solution Architect, designing and optimizing SAP FI/CO system architecture for scalability and integration.
  • Oversee and manage SAP FI/CO master data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with financial reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to develop and implement SAP enhancements and systems integrations.
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues in finance and controlling workflows.
  • Ensure Sap solutions align with business needs and drive efficiency and automation.

 

Other day to day tasks:

  • Plan and execute other tasks and projects in the context of Group Finance planning.
  • Create specific analysis, reports or periodic tasks established within the department.
