This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.The Vice President, Manufacturing Plant Management - Single Site (Management Path), is primarily responsible for leading and directing all manufacturing, engineering, and production processes at a single site. You will be expected to build effective and meaningful relationships to develop growth strategies, manage manufacturing processes, maintain quality systems, and ensure cost-effective production. Visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and deep industry knowledge are essential to achieving operational excellence and contributing to the company's success.

Specifics Include:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for all processes and teams at a single plant, including Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations, Repair & Maintenance, Production Planning & Control, Quality, Environmental and Employee Health & Safety, Materials Supply, Strategic Capacity Planning, and Manufacturing Science and Technology
• Ensure alignment with business objectives and drive major initiatives
• Maintain a well-trained workforce and ensure compliance with company values, laws, and regulations
• Develop and implement growth strategies, forecast and plan production
• Manage manufacturing processes and maintain quality systems for cost-effective production
• Introduce new products and processes, direct equipment validation, and monitor performance for continuous improvement
• Manage the annual budget and implement Lean Manufacturing
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and coordinate with other facilities
• Ensure associates have necessary tools and develop compliance procedures
• Track key performance indicators and make high-stakes decisions affecting the entire plant
• Ensure all associates adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, and completing required training
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance in all operationsAll associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations​.

Qualifications: Associate shall have the appropriate education and experience to successfully perform the responsibilities/activities of this role.
