Business Function

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the collections process for the assigned portfolio, ensuring timely and effective recovery of outstanding debts
• Analyze customer data and credit profiles to develop tailored collection strategies and action plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as credit and risk management, to identify and address potential risks
• Monitor and report on collection performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the collection process

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the collections industry
