About this opportunity

Responsible for leading Managed Services engagements across MOAI with a primary focus on Malaysia and Singapore, including supporting existing operations with add on sales and extension or renewals, conducting an Operational Benchmarking Assessment (OBA) for new opportunities, translating findings into commercially viable end‑to‑end MS solutions, and driving proposals as part of the Core 3/pre‑sales team. You will join the MOAI Managed Services Pre‑Sales and Solutions team, a group of experienced MS experts working directly with C‑level customers and senior Ericsson stakeholders. This individual contributor role has strong C‑level exposure, regional scope across MOAI (Market Area Oceania, South East Asia & India), with the possibility to support opportunities in other MOAI countries when requested, and requires flexibility to travel around 30–50% of the time and to work across multiple time zones.

What you will do

  • Be the primary interface towards DNB and CelcomDigi (we will use Customer for external job posting) for taking the roles of Engagement Lead and or CSR for new MS opportunities
  • Plan and lead OBA activities (customer meetings, interviews, workshops, data collection and analysis), and present findings to customer and internal stakeholders
  • Engage with customers at all levels, including C‑level, as part of the Core 3
  • Orchestrate end‑to‑end commercial and technical MS solutions and value argumentation
  • Ensure appropriate internal governance of MS opportunities in collaboration with the Account Team/Core 3
  • Understand competitors’ MS offerings and Ericsson’s unique value (including EOE)
  • Support select MOAI pursuits and travel to Ericsson and customer sites as needed
  • When required, support Managed Services engagements in other MOAI countries in close collaboration with the regional team

You will bring

  • University degree in Science/Engineering (Electronics/Telecommunications or similar); Business degree a plus
  • 5+ years of Ericsson MS solution expertise; familiarity with SMSN portfolio
  • Strong understanding of telecom operations (customer operations models, Ericsson Operations Engine, tools and processes)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven experience engaging senior and C‑level stakeholders
  • Prior experience in MS operational roles is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel ~30–50% (some of that travel with to Customer offices within Kuala Lumpur as well as within MOAI) and to work flexibly across time zones
  • Valid passport and driving licence; eligible to work in Malaysia (foreign candidates on local terms, no LTA)
