Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $3,000 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a Credit Analyst to support the end-to-end lending operations of a fast-growing Australian fintech lender providing business finance solutions to mortgage brokers.
You will play a key role in assessing loan applications, managing settlements, monitoring repayments, and ensuring a smooth lending process. Working closely with the Sales and Credit teams, you will help maintain accurate applications and deliver efficient support throughout the loan lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare credit applications by collecting documents, following up with clients, and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review ASIC documents, PPSR registers, and business structures to support credit assessments.
- Coordinate settlement activities, including PPSR registrations, borrower confirmations, file management, and basic Xero reconciliations.
- Monitor loan repayments and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Collect and consolidate commission statements and related data.
- Use AI tools and technology to improve workflow efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst within the Australian mortgage broking, lending, banking, or related financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of Australian lending documentation and processes, including ASIC company searches, PPSR registrations, and corporate structures
- Understanding of credit assessment processes and lending documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
- Comfortable using AI tools and technology to enhance efficiency.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
