We're building the products and platforms that enable merchants to accept payments online and grow their businesses in the digital economy.As a Software Engineer, you'll help build and launch new products, contribute to technical discussions and decisions, and scale solutions as adoption grows across new markets.This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage. While Flatpay already serves merchants at scale, our online platform is still in its early stages. You'll have the opportunity to help launch new solutions, shape how the platform evolves as adoption grows, and learn directly from customers along the way.If you enjoy building products from the ground up, working close to customers, and seeing your work evolve from first launch to large-scale adoption, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a domain that will play an important role in Flatpay's future growth.What you'll doDesign, develop, and maintain software solutions for online commerce and paymentsBuild new merchant- and customer-facing features, APIs, and servicesTake ownership of features from design and implementation through deployment and maintenanceImprove the reliability, scalability, and performance of existing systemsCollaborate with product managers and designers to deliver customer valueParticipate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisionsContribute to testing, deployment, and operational excellenceWork closely with other engineering teams across Flatpay to build integrated solutionsHelp improve engineering practices, tooling, and development workflowsWho you are3-6 years of professional software engineering experienceExperience building and operating production systemsComfortable working across modern backend and cloud technologiesStrong understanding of software engineering fundamentalsCurious, pragmatic, and eager to learnEnjoy taking ownership and solving real customer problemsExperience with payments, e-commerce, SaaS platforms, or fintech is a plusYou'll be working with technologies such as the following.
