Vitalant is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist I or Medical Lab Generalist dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Medical Laboratory Scientist /Generalist is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by contributing to laboratory operations. You will manage reagents, supplies, and inventory, input patient data, and provide exceptional customer service.
What to Expect
Schedule: Evenings 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM with W/E rotation (w/e shift differential)
Training: Days
Base Wage: $21.63-$32.17

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Generalist, you'll get to:
Manage Special Red Cell inventory and distribution.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify malfunctions.
Conduct preparation and prequalification of reagents.
Requirements:
Medical Lab Generalist
Must have a Bachelor's degree that meets CLIA requirements (medical sciences, chemistry or biology).

Medical Lab Scientist
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science OR have a Bachelor's degree with ASCP Medical Lab Scientist or Blood Bank certification.
